What we provide

SOTA Model publishes an aggregated, frequently-refreshed index of large language model rankings, benchmark scores, pricing, release timing and related news. Access is free and no account is required. We may change, restructure or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

Accuracy and no warranty

The information here is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We aggregate third-party public data, and where a figure has not been published by a lab or benchmark operator, it is an estimate. Data can be delayed, superseded or wrong.

• Rankings reflect our aggregation methodology, not an official or universally agreed order.
• Scores below the leading models are estimates, and are labelled as such.
• Pricing and throughput figures change without notice and vary by provider and region.
• Nothing here is professional, financial, legal or procurement advice.

Validate anything that matters against the primary source we link to, and test candidate models against your own workload before committing to one.

Using our content

Site design, written commentary and our aggregation methodology are our own work. You may quote short excerpts and cite individual data points for commentary, research, journalism or internal analysis, provided you attribute SOTA Model and link back to the page you took them from. Systematic scraping, bulk republication of tables, or reproducing the index in a way that substitutes for visiting the site is not permitted without written permission.

Underlying benchmark results belong to the organisations that produced them and remain subject to their own licences and terms.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure.
• Do not use automated agents that place unreasonable load on the service.
• Do not misrepresent our rankings as an endorsement, certification or official standard.

Trademarks and independence

Model, product and company names — including those of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Meta, DeepSeek, Moonshot, Mistral, Alibaba and others — are trademarks of their respective owners and are used descriptively for identification. SOTA Model is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any model provider, benchmark operator or leaderboard, as set out on our about page.

Advertising

The site is supported by display advertising. Advertisements are clearly labelled and are served by a third-party network; we do not control, endorse or vet the products advertised, and advertising has no influence on rankings or editorial content. Data handling for advertising is described in the privacy policy.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its data. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the minimum permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
